Lower sodium quantity, yet superior hydration (1)

The Encapsulated Nano-Electrolytes® delivers electrolytes packed in liposomes, nanoparticles composed of a phospholipid bilayer similar to the gastrointestinal cell's membrane. This results in a lower osmolarity and higher bioavailability, generating a more efficient mechanism of electrolytes absorption. Because of this, Speedlyte®, a Na+45 mEq/L formula, may have 2 times the rehydration efficacy than non-encapsulated Na+ 75 mEq/L formulas, depending on the patient condition. Why Speedlyte® may better help people living with risk of dehydration.

Speedlyte vs. Water

Just like electrolytes powders and tablets, ORS are also based on a 50-year-old technology that presents absorption limitations and bad taste. Speedlyte® uses Encapsulated Nano-Electrolytes for higher fluid absorption, less intake needed and good taste.(2)

Maintaining proper hydration is a key habit for almost every person living with risk of dehydration.  Failing to maintaining a proper hydration may lead to(1) :
